Join The Shed and our neighbors in the West Side Cultural Network for the first West Side Fest, a day of free admission, special indoor and outdoor programming, crafts for kids, artmaking for all ages, and more.
The festival wraps up with a block party at The Shed from 3 to 7 pm, featuring dance sets by The Dragon Sisters and Ladies of Hip-Hop, as well as ongoing DJ sets by Riobamba, BEARCAT, and Ashley Venom.
Other organizations participating in West Side Fest include the Whitney Museum of American Art, Poster House, Hill Arts Foundation, Hudson River Park, Westbeth Artists Residence, Little Island, West Village Rehearsal Co-op, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center, the New York City AIDS Memorial Park, New York Live Arts, The Kitchen, the Rubin Museum of Art, the High Line, and the Center for Art, Research and Alliances (CARA).

About the West Side Cultural Network
The West Side Cultural Network is a group of 19 museums, parks, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions located within a one-half-mile portion of historic New York on the western edge of Manhattan.
The West Side Cultural Network includes the Atlantic Theater Company, Center for Art, Research and Alliances, Chelsea Factory, Dia Chelsea, the High Line, Hill Art Foundation, Hudson River Park, The Joyce Theater, The Kitchen, Little Island, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, New York City AIDS Memorial, New York Live Arts, Poster House, Print Center New York, the Rubin Museum of Art, The Shed, Westbeth, West Village Rehearsal Co-Op, White Columns, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
