A stroll through the fun palace presented an influential but unrealized project developed in 1961 by architect Cedric Price and theater director Joan Littlewood: The Fun Palace, a key reference for The Shed’s permanent building opening spring 2019. In this experimental exhibition, interlocutors presented drawings and plans from the Canadian Centre for Architecture’s extensive archive of Price’s projects that also included other projects such as Lung for Manhattan (1999), which Price had planned as a redevelopment plan for precisely the area where The Shed will be located.
